Ngala Early Learning Kensington is one of Perth’s most trusted early learning centres, pioneering the not-for-profit service model since inception in 1971.

Our spacious classrooms are flooded with natural light, creating warm and inviting learning environments. Each classroom is complemented by its own outdoor yard, providing children with ample opportunities to engage in outdoor play and learning activities.

We prioritise child agency through our indoor-outdoor program, which seamlessly integrates both environments throughout the day. This empowers children to choose and explore spaces that spark their interest, fostering a sense of autonomy and ownership over their learning experiences.

Central to our philosophy is the creation of a nurturing “home away from home” environment. We achieve this by furnishing our spaces with familiar furniture and resources commonly found in households, fostering a sense of comfort, and belonging.

We utilise natural materials and loose parts to encourage children’s exploration and investigation, promoting creativity and critical thinking skills.

Building strong relationships is paramount to us, and we are fortunate to have a dedicated team of qualified and passionate educators, many of whom have been with our service for over a decade.
