Our unique intergenerational program is exclusive to our Claremont early learning centre. The program, delivered in partnership with our neighbours The Queenslea Aged Care Residence, brings our students together with residents to enjoy group activities and shared experiences, building the foundations for life-long friendships.
Our intergenerational program takes an evidence-based approach to enhancing the overall well-being of all participants, providing enormous benefit to the social and emotional development of young children. Our students learn from seniors’ life experience and knowledge, while also learning to interact with care, empathy and respect for others.
The last 18 months that Luke has spent with Amy and Ha has been so great for him. The love and care that they show towards the children in their room has been incredible. He has had the best time being an Investigator and I want to thank them both for all of the fun times, cuddles and snacks they’ve shared with Luke. He’s grown from a squishy little 5.5 month old into a cheeky, chatty and confident 4.5 year old who loves his days at daycare.
We have been really happy with Ngala airport. They are in prompt contact if something occurs. They are fantastic communicators, the staff are warm and caring and most importantly our children are really happy there.
The Educators have been like family to us, always there to help when our family have been in the UK. We really can’t thank you enough for what you have done for us, taking care of our precious babies, making them feel safe and loved.
