Ngala Early Learning Perth Airport

Nestled in the commercial hub of Perth Domestic Airport, Ngala Early Learning Perth Airport is a purpose-built center that has been serving families since 2010. Our unique location not only caters to the local community but also extends support to those employed within the precinct of Perth Airport.

Central to our philosophy is empowering children to take an active role in their learning journey. Rain or shine, our indoor-outdoor program offers daily opportunities for exploration and play, allowing children to immerse themselves in environments that ignite their curiosity and engagement. Our outdoor areas feature lush greenery, natural play zones, thriving vegetable gardens, and tranquil corners, providing an enriching backdrop for learning experiences.

Our dedicated team forms the foundation of our educational approach, boasting a wealth of experience and a commitment to excellence. With a strong focus on continuity and quality, our longstanding educators collaborate seamlessly, drawing upon evidence-based research to shape programs that foster holistic development for children and meaningful support for families.

At Ngala Early Learning Perth Airport, we believe in creating physical environments that exude warmth, familiarity, and a sense of belonging. Our aim is to cultivate spaces that resonate with children, enabling them to forge meaningful connections and feel at home even when away from home.

Rachael Bawden, Centre Coordinator Ngala Perth Airport
Rachael Bawden
Centre Coordinator

Hello, I’m Rachael Bawden, and I’ve been a part of Ngala Early Learning Perth Airport since 2013. Initially joining as an Early Childhood Teacher, I transitioned into the role of Service Coordinator in 2015. I hold a Graduate Diploma in Children’s Services (Children and Family Studies), a Masters in Infant Mental Health, and a Graduate Certificate in Human Resource Management.

My professional passion revolves around nurturing relationships. I firmly believe that children thrive within the context of their primary caregiving relationships, and early childhood educators play a pivotal role in fostering these bonds.

My mission is to cultivate an environment where all children, families, and staff members feel safe and supported. I understand that providing this foundation of security is essential for fostering growth and development in every individual.

I look forward to welcoming you and your family to our beautiful service.
